New York City
Pied-á-Terre

For the first phase of the renovation of an early 1800's farmhouse on Long Island, we were brought in to bring back the architectural integrity and soul of our client's home. While the house still had some important elements intact, much of the renovation was focused on adjusting the flow of the rooms and adding architectural bones where they had been removed. A weekend and summer house for a young family, our client desired a colorful palette that felt appropriate during all four seasons of the year. To that end, we filled the rooms with luxurious upholstered furniture that beckons you to sit down and stay while, meanwhile a curated collection of not-so-precious antiques and vintage pieces remind you to kick up your feet and enjoy your cocktail.
